Invest Rs. 12500 in PPF & Earn 1 CRORE: Here’s How
If you dream of becoming a Crorepati but feel like it’s never going to happen due to average salary, then take this thought out of your mind. If you want, you can become a Crorepati through government schemes like the Public Provident Fund (PPF). Your investment in this government-guaranteed scheme remains completely secure because it is not affected by market fluctuations. Even if your monthly salary is 65-70 thousand rupees, you can easily fulfill your dream of becoming a Crorepati through this scheme.
How to become a Crorepati with PPF
The maximum annual investment limit in PPF is 1.5 lakh rupees. In order to become a crorepati, you will need to deposit this amount in PPF every year. If you calculate it on a monthly basis, you will need to invest approximately 12,500 rupees in PPF every month. The PPF scheme matures in 15 years, but after maturity, you will need to extend the scheme in blocks of 5-5 years twice while continuing the contribution.
In this way, you will have to continue the annual investment of 1,50,000 rupees for 25 years. Currently, this scheme offers a 7.1% interest. If you calculate, you will invest 37,50,000 rupees over 25 years, but with interest, you will receive 65,58,015 rupees. By combining the invested amount and the interest amount, you will receive 1,03,08,015 rupees from the PPF after 25 years. This way, you will be a Crorepati in 25 years.
Now you might be wondering how to invest 12,500 rupees every month. Well, even if you earn a salary of above 60,000 thousand rupees, it’s not difficult for you. In this case, you just need to follow the 20% financial rule of investment. According to this rule, everyone should invest 20% of their income in any case. So, if you earn 65,000 rupees, you should invest 20% which is 13,000 rupees. But in PPF, you only need to invest 12,500 rupees per month, so it’s not very difficult. You can easily deposit 1.5 lakh annually in this scheme and become a guaranteed Crorepati.
