  8. Heyy,
I have an account in HDFC (women account) and I wish to switch my account in Jan Dhan Yojona, but I don’t have Aadhar card, can I have this jan dhan yojna facility like Over Draft; Zero balance etc….

  9. Its true that many banks are reluctant to open an account under Prime minister’s jan dhan yojna. They find flimsy grounds and misguide potential customers. Probabaly its because they are already overburdened with routine work.

This scheme has been a great success. However it will be even better if additional staff is deployed by the bank, may be outsourcing, for the sole task of opening ac under the scheme. It is suggested that the authority concerned take due corrective measures so that the benefit of this scheme reaches poorest of the poor.
